The brief for this BBC TWO press launch was to tie in the introductory, graphic sequence with current BBC TWO promotions. An animated, flying BBC TWO existed but Knifedge Member Sandra Goddard directed the animator to make the ‘2’ fly into the tree of the graphic background that she created.

This playful version of the ‘2’ made an eye-catching entrance to new season’s programming press launch presentation. It was so successful that its usage spread with BBC online picking it up and using it on the BBC TWO website.
