Since starting what was to become Knifedge in 1996, Jonathan has notched up over ten years experience in, creative direction, artist management, tour producing, musician contracting, broadcast branding production, documentary production and arts & business consultancy.
In this time, Jonathan has dealt with many large public and corporate sector organisations, such as the BBC, Arts Council England and the British Council, and their often complex requirements.
He has also produced and project managed a diverse portfolio of projects of every size, from international music tours and ground-breaking orchestral work to marketing and administration for a variety of clients including MPL Communications, Music Beyond Mainstream, The Early Opera Company, and BBC Worldwide.
Through Millennia Ensemble, Knifedge’s session musician group Jonathan has worked with artists as diverse as The Divine Comedy, Queens of The Stone Age, Sir Paul McCartney, Take That, Travis, Siouxsie Sioux and Jamiroquai.
Jonathan studied the cello at the Royal College of Music gaining a BMus in 1997. He is skilled at bringing together and understanding all kinds of creative people from musicians to gaffers.
