Broadcast Scenic Design

Scenic Design for 4 production areas used during ESPN's coverage of the 150th Open Golf Championship at St Andrew's in Scotland.

Knifedge's design work first came to the attention of EPSN's creative director Noubar Stone during the 2007 Broadway season of the Menier Chocolate Factory's much lauded and awarded Sondheim musical Sunday in the Park with George. Noubar has since been looking for a suitable project to work on with us.

The opportunity arose this year and we have designed 4 environments - SportsCenter, Main Coverage (at the 18th Hole), Practice Tee, Interview Area. Our inspiration was taken from the heritage clubhouse feel exuded inside the home of the Royal and Ancient Club itself.

Assisting Timothy on this project was Ellan Parry, with set build and construction undertaken by Dick George Creatives Ltd., set builders for Film, TV and Live Events.
