Collision Title Sequence
For ITV Drama
Title sequence designed and directed by Timothy Bird to lead into the story of a traffic collision and human tales surrounding it.

Immovable road architecture and crash barriers were filmed with a low frame rate and slow shutter speed so that the vehicles rush ghost-like and fragile through each shot. Working with with DOP Malcolm Hadley and using the Red Camera, we were able to create a beautiful but cost effective start to Marc Evans' series for Greenlit Productions.
Post production for the sequence was handled in-house at Knifedge, with deft special effects to create the type on the road by John Keates.
