Knifedge provides design and production of all the CD releases for record label Canary Classics as part of an overall piece of communication and marketing strategy.

The design varies depending on the market in which the release is intended. For the European market, the designs are all based on a 'Rayograph' technique, where photographic paper is exposed to light directly, without using a camera, but with objects placed on top of it.

For the US market, we use more photography of Gil himself, since he known and loved by his audience. These images often allow us to have some fun, letting Gil interact with Leopold the Musical Box Canary, the brand's mascot.
