Animation Case Study

Dore Programme Animations

Introductory Films

Animations to explain the story behind the Brand and the ideas behind the science for ground-breaking approach to learning.

The Dore Programme commissioned Knifedge to create and animate a short film to introduce and explain the nature and benefits of its approach. The Dore Programme helps people with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, by providing a series of physical exercises which in turn help retrain parts of the brain which are not connecting as they should.

Knifedge’s design and animation provides a set of simple visual analogies, which allow the technical aspects and science behind the approach make more sense to a general audience. These have proved more successful and engaging than anatomical diagrams and abstract terminology.

In the end, two films were created, one to introduce the programme and one to provide more information about how it works and what it involves. Both are available on the Dore website to provide an accessible tool for understanding.
