Towards the end of 2011 Peter Mensch of Q Prime approached us to work with Snow Patrol. We obviously jumped at the opportunity. We were initially commissioned by Snow Patrol to collaborate with Snow Patrol's Lighting Designer Davy Sherwin on set concepts and Davy completed this to include a large stealth LED screen with the snowflake becoming fully automated LED 'pods'. The set was built by HSL with LED by XL Video. We moved on to working on content for the tour for some of the songs including the epic 'Chasing Cars', 'This Isn't Everything You Are', 'New York', and 'In The End'. The tour started in Dublin on 20th January and toured the world.

The deadline was quite tight so a lot of the Knifedge team joined forces on this one. We were working late nights over Christmas to get the visuals ready for programming.

Whilst we were working on the tour the band asked us to finish the visuals off for 'This Isn't Everything You Are' for Children in Need's 'Rock the Children' in December 2011. It was a delight to see our visuals on this annual takeover of the BBC for such a great charity. You can see it again in the video here.
