42nd Street – Chichester Festival Theatre
Atmospheric projections which unite scenic and lighting design as part of the integral choreography of the show.
Timothy Bird designed projections for Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of 42nd street, providing visual touches which transport the audience back to 1933. The idea was to lend atmosphere and to bring the elegantly designed and unadorned set to life with as dramatic effect as the dancers performing in the show.
The show was directed by Paul Kerryson with Andrew Wright as choreographer. The set was designed by Ashley Martin-Davis, costumes by George Souglides, lighting by Chris Ellis and sound by Matt McKenzie
42nd Street opened on July 1st to and received four and five-star reviews across the board.
